About me

My name is Rebecca and I go by Beccs. I am the artist and mentor at Beccs Brows Academy. I started my brow journey in 2015 when my friends introduced me to PMU (permanent make up). I got my brows ombre’d and my life was forever changed; waking up to full brows was a game changer! This interest grew on me as I knew this was something I can do to help others and get paid. It was not until 2017 that I finally jumpstart my career and took my first brow class and model.

The first 6 months of my journey was full of trial and error when it came to color matching. I was given 4 pigments in my first class and was taught to match with clients’ brow hairs while not considering their undertones so I learned some things the hard way. I am now going on to my 7th year as a full time brow artist and mentor, so I have decided to create this simple-to-follow cheatsheet for new artists. If you're tired of guessing which color to choose for your clients, I have put together a pigment cheatsheet for reference and help cut down the guesswork. Of course, color theory is a very important subject to tackle as you journey your way into an experienced artist and to begin mixing pigments. It is also important to research each pigment type whether it be organic, inorganic or hybrids to see what you like to work with best. I hope this cheatsheet will be a useful resource for your brow journey. If you love this type of educational content. Please be sure to turn on your notifications and hit that follow button for more. Also be sure to tag me on your work when you use any of the mix:)
